So, until a few years ago my main profession was working as an IT professional; servicing and supporting user environments as well as planning and maintaining backend servers / networking. I did this since 1994 with a break around 2001-2004.

Though tech renews really fast, some fundamental understanding of it doesn’t grow old as quick. I grew up as a self-taught computer nerd during the 80’s home computer boom. Little did I know at the time that I made myself a computer generalist, ready to go to work the first day out of school.

And it’s still a fitting baggage in todays tech dependent and widely connected world and I use this understanding as part of being an audio creative as well as still offering a few IT related services as a freelance, including:

• Data recovery — I’ve helped individuals as well as media businesses.
• IT support for businesses.
• Experience with accessibility tools for visually impaired, hearing aids, and interacting.
